The tour finale comes to the King’s Theatre, Glasgow! Annie brings its “Tony® award-winning book and score” to Scotland for a spectacular closing run in March 2027. It’s a “proper, old-fashioned escapism” that Glaswegian audiences will absolutely love.
Final Cast Spotlight
Closing the tour in style, Claire Sweeney stars as the gin-soaked Miss Hannigan, a role she has made her own with “full energy and brio.” She is joined by Alex Bourne as the “patrician” Warbucks and the fantastic Tanisha-Mae Brown as Grace Farrell. Christian Cooper as Rooster ensures the villainy is comically menacing right up until the final curtain.
With Nikolai Foster’s direction and Nick Winston’s choreography, the show ends its tour on a high note. Every “hit song” from Maybe to Tomorrow sounds magnificent in the historic King’s Theatre, backed by Colin Richmond’s “big, bold and brash” set design and Ben Cracknell’s evocative lighting.
